Rune Myhren (No)

Songwriter, vocalist and harmonica player Rune "Big Rooney" Myhren are inspired by George "Harmonica" Smith's energetic chromatic harmonica technique and he was early dedicated to mastering this powerful instrument. Myhren realized that he had to learn from the best and asked harmonica ace - Mark Hummel - to teach him the necessary tricks on the way to the goal. The friendship of the late Gary Primich led Myhren to Austin, Texas in 2006 to make the album - "60 Days of Passion" - with, now deceased, Gary Primich. In the summer of 2009, Myhren and the band "Big Rooney & The Doghouse" went to Sun Studio in Memphis to record the CD "A Murder Of Crows" which has received good reviews in both the U.S. and Europe.
